MARINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Purpose:

Midwest Water Sports is one of the largest MasterCraft, Supra, and Moomba boat dealers in the nation. We are looking to add to experienced marine technicians to our service team but would also be willing to train the right candidate because our niche (wakeboard and water ski boats) is very specialized.

We are looking for someone who has strong mechanical and electrical skills and a willing to learn attitude. Competitive compensation will be based on ability and experience and there are opportunities to advance thru paid training and mentorship. The candidate should be able to perform basic maintenance with some training and the ability to learn more advanced skills after additional experience and training.

Automotive repair experience is also helpful.

This is a year round position. Company paid Heath Care and 401K with generous employer match are included. We also offer paid time off and paid training.

Duties:

  • Perform quality services by following standards; taking pride in work; conducting final inspection; correcting deficiencies; notifying service manager when problems or unforeseen obstacles arise.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities; reading and following manufacturers' specifications.

Skills/Qualifications

ATTENTION TO DETAIL; MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER; Verbal Communication; Fabrication; Basic Safety; Equipment Maintenance; Functional and Technical Skills; Audio skills are a huge benefit.

Seasonal PRO SHOP ASSOCIATES - Minnetonka & Crystal locations

We are looking for staff seasonal pro shop associates for the summer season. As a Pro Shop Associate you would be working with customers to select water skia, wakeboards, wake surf products and accessories. You would be working with local customers as well as customers who are shopping on our eCommerce sites WaterSkis.com, Wakeboards.com, BuyWake,com, and RedShiftWaterSports.com. Other duties will be helping pick and pack online orders, detailing boats and help with on water events.
