If you’re a water skier, a lifelong lake lover, or someone who dreams about cutting glass-smooth water on a summer morning, you know there’s nothing quite like the feeling. The pull of the rope as you set the edge of the ski across the wake and everything else fades away.

Now imagine that — but multiplied by hundreds of the best skiers in the country, all gathered in one place. That’s what’s coming to Minnesota this year as the USA Water Ski Nationals makes its way north.

Each summer, hundreds of the nation’s best skiers gather to compete in slalom, trick, and jump events — pushing the limits of precision, power, and performance.

Hosted by USA Water Ski, the governing body for the sport, the Nationals brings together skiers of all ages — from junior competitors to seasoned pros. It’s where national titles are earned and legacies are made.

Since we just got the news, we will give more details once they come in. What we know right now, is it will be held from August 9th through August 15th 2026. The event site is tentatively planned for Trophy Lake Estates, in Center City.
